FUDCon Blacksburg Day 2
I tried to rest after day 1, but you know, jetlag. So, I woke up early and Pascal and I had breakfast at the hotel. Then we were going to the McBryde hall to listen to some amazing presentation.
First, there was a "Welcome and organization" session, Robyn Bergeron, Ben WIlliams and Tom Callaway welcomed to the audience then Jared gave a session about Fedora and its status, goals.
I think he is very good speaker, I enjoyed his presentation. The next thing, that is following, is a group photo! Yay! I was sitting in the third row, next to Pascal :) After all, I went to the "Tito / Building RPMs" session. I didn't know what is Tito, but now I know it. It was a great presentation from Jesus Rodrigez. He spoke a lot of interesting things. I think I'll try it. Then Pascal and I were working on Fedora Insight, especially Mediawiki issues and theming.
After lunch I went to buy some small gifts about Blacksburg and VT for my family. At 4pm, Jared, Pascal and I tried to fix Jared's Drupal Commerce issue. That was a strange and annoying bug but we did it. After sessions, there was a little entertainment. Its name is FUDPub. On the entrance there was a lady, who was so cute when I told where I came from :)
I grabbed a bottle of Sprite and a bowl of food. A little group of people were playing bowling while another ones were talking to each other or playing snooker. It was a great day and in the end of day it's snowing. :)
